Nikken Waterfall 1 Filter Cartridge + 1 Mineral Stones

Introduction

The Nikken Waterfall 1 Filter Cartridge and Mineral Stones are advanced replacements for the Gravity Water Filter Purifier System 1384. With these components, you can enjoy clean, filtered, and enhanced drinking water at a fraction of the cost of bottled water. Not only will you be saving money, but you’ll also be helping to protect the environment.

Replaceable Waterfall System Components

These replaceable Waterfall System Components are designed for use with the Waterfall system. When it’s time to change your filter, a red light will appear on your Waterfall. We recommend replacing the filter when the light turns on and changing the mineral stones approximately once a year or every 3 filter changes, depending on your water usage.

Note: It is suggested not to leave filtered water sitting in the bottom reservoir as this can diminish the longevity of the mineral stones and add extra mineral content to the water. For best results, transfer filtered water to a serving pitcher.

Filter Deleterious Chemicals

Among the filtration media employed in the Nikken Waterfall 1 Filter Cartridge is a natural carbon filter that effectively captures microscopic particles. This filter helps reduce a number of deleterious chemicals found in tap water, including chlorine, benzene, solvents trihalomethane compounds, and volatile organic chemicals.

Keep Them Clean

To maintain optimal performance, it is advised to take apart the Waterfall system every 2 or 3 months and rinse out both tanks with cold water. It is also recommended to clean off the other pre-filters to keep them in good working order. If the filter cartridge’s surface becomes permanently discolored or hardened, it must be replaced.

Replacement and Usage

Your product manual includes the recommended intervals for inspection and replacement of the filter cartridge and mineral stones. The filter cartridge should be replaced if it has reached 900 liters or three months of use, whichever comes first. However, this may need to be performed less or more frequently depending on operating conditions.

It is important to note that the Nikken Waterfall 1 Filter Cartridge and Mineral Stones are designed for use with cold water only. The filter cartridge must be soaked in cold water for at least 8 hours before usage. This product is specifically designed to reduce objectionable tastes, odors, colors, aesthetic chlorine, VOCs, and mercury from municipally treated tap water.
